By the age of 25, Claire Bidwell Smith had lost both of her parents to cancer. In her recently published memoir, THE RULES OF INHERITANCE, Bidwell Smith shares her harrowing experiences, breaking the book down into the five stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. Below she outlines her step-by-step process for how and why she chose to do this.
